It’s high noon...
Bedlam is relevant to college football:
Jenni Carlson of The Oklahoman wrote about the interesting concept of Bedlam being more relevant than any other rivalry in college football. This game always has big implications and it’s the same in 2020.
The Big 12 gifted us with a double-bye week before the in-state brouhaha. Neither OU nor OSU will play Saturday, so we have a little extra time to build up the excitement. To fan the rivalry flames. To bang the Bedlam drum.
I could hype this game to Sooners and Cowboys by highlighting everything that will be on the line, but really, everyone involved in this rivalry has come to expect a high-stakes game of football when the Bedlam foes get together. Since 2010, the Sooners and the Cowboys have met nearly every season with both chasing lofty goals and needing to beat the other to get there.{Oklahoman}
This is crazy to think about. You would think games like Michigan-Ohio State would have more relevancy but from an angle of what happens to the winner, it’s Bedlam.
Matthew Wolff’s interview at The Masters:
The former Oklahoma State golf star is at Augusta National to compete in one of the greatest events in sports, The Masters. On Monday, Wolff talked about what the chance to play in the tournament means to him.
“It’s more of a dream come true than playing in any other tournament,” Wolff said. “It’s the one tournament that as a kid you always know exactly when it is, you watch every single shot that you can. It’s kinda the mecca of golf. To be here in my first Masters is unbelievable.”
