Oklahoma State will be represented by three former golfers at The Masters, the third and final major championship this year.
Former Cowboys Rickie Fowler, Charles Howell III and Matthew Wolff will compete for the green jacket this weekend at Augusta National.
Wolff has two top-five finishes at majors this year, with a second-place finish at the U.S. Open in September then a share for fourth at the PGA Championship in August. It’s Wolff’s first Masters appearance.
Fowler made the cut for the PGA Championship and tied for 49th at the U.S. Open. He has two top-five career finishes at the Masters, with runner-up honors in 2018 and a share for fifth in 2014.
The 41-year-old Howell is still hanging around. He did not at PGA then took 30th at the U.S. Open. The Augusta native hasn’t played at the Masters since 2012 when he tied for 19th. His best Masters finish came in 2004 when he tied for 13th.
Masters coverage this year is split between two networks — ESPN will air Rounds 1 and 2, and CBS has Rounds 3 and 4. Masters.com is also free and allows viewers to see every shot on every hole.
