It’s Bedlam! Our staff picks the Oklahoma Super Bowl and other games from around the nation.

Welcome to another football weekend! It’s Bedlam in Norman today and a full slate of college football games throughout the day. We’ll pick all the games and preview the important ones! Let’s start with the primetime matchup.

No. 14 Oklahoma State @ No. 18 Oklahoma

Sometimes it all comes down to scheduling. Oklahoma State will never get Oklahoma to start Big 12 play. The Sooners struggled through their first two Big 12 games but have played some really good football since then. Injuries have hampered OSU in its last two games but both teams are coming off bye weeks. Can OU pick up where it left off? Did OSU’s key players heal enough to play to their full ability today? We’re about to find out.

If Oklahoma State plays like it did early in the season, this game could come down to the final possession. Unfortunately, I have no clue how healthy the Cowboys actually are. There will be guys that tough it out because its Bedlam, but how healthy is this team really? Even if OSU is healthy, it could still lose this one by a score or two. Most of our staff has Oklahoma in this one. Zach McCoy is taking the Cowboys over Oklahoma tonight. I certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see Oklahoma State win, but I am going with OU 31-20 over the Cowboys.

Kansas State @ No. 17 Iowa State

Iowa State hosts Kansas State as the Cyclones try to keep their Big 12 hopes alive. Iowa State can make the Big 12 Championship Game if it wins out. I’m not concerned for the Cyclones today against a Kansas State team that has struggled on offense in recent games. This is simply a warm up for Texas. There are plenty of different scenarios for the Big 12 Championship Game, but the most likely one involves the winner of Bedlam facing the winner of Iowa State’s upcoming game against Texas. The Cyclones just can’t get caught looking ahead against an always stingy Kansas State squad.

Our staff is going with Iowa State today. I have the Cyclones by a few touchdowns. Brock Purdy and Breece Hall should each account for a touchdown today and I’ll throw in a Mike Rose turnover to give Iowa State a comfortable win.

Games Around the Nation

Florida takes on Vanderbilt in the early game on ABC after Clemson’s game at Florida State was postponed. Florida quarterback Kyle Trask has been putting up Heisman worthy numbers so far this season and the Gators should roll this afternoon. LSU travels to Arkansas in a game our staff has...Arkansas winning? Yes! The Heartbreak Hogs are taking the weekend off! This should be a good game but LSU has really struggled this year and Arkansas has outperformed expectations.

Illinois travels to Nebraska to take on the Cornhuskers and I have Nebraska picking up a win today. Cincinnati travels to Florida to face UCF. The Bearcats ruined UCF’s CFP hopes last season and the Knights will look to return the favor this afternoon against a really good Cincinnati team. Tennessee plays at Auburn as it continues to struggle. Could a new quarterback help? Both of these teams have had problems this year but Tennessee has had more than Auburn has, so I’m taking the home team in this one. Here are the rest of our picks from games around the nation!
