OSU (4-1, 3-1 Big 12) had its undefeated season end with the 41-34 OT loss to Texas. The Cowboys, who fell from No. 6 to 14 in the Associated Press’ Top 25 poll, are a half-game back of Iowa State (4-2, 4-1) and K-State at the top of the Big 12. OSU handed the Cyclones their lone conference loss, 24-21 on Oct. 24 in Stillwater.
The Cowboys lead the all-time series against Wildcats, 40-26, but had lost two straight before a 26-13 home win. OSU has lost three of the past four meetings in Manhattan dating back to 2012, with its lone win being a 43-37 victory Nov. 5, 2016.
