It’s high noon...
Coach Boynton not concerned yet:
Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton chatted with the Oklahoman and other media members about the upcoming season and his concerns on if it will start on time.
“I’m not a worrier,” Boynton said during Thursday’s Zoom conference call with reporters. “It’s probably something to think about at some point. November’s a long way away from here. I’m not going to start worrying about that at this point. It’s a possibility, I’m sure, but it’s not one I want to give a whole lot of thought to now.
“Right now, I just want to focus on doing what I can and encouraging the kids to do what they can to give ourselves the best chance to have a season.” {The Oklahoman}
He also talked about the impact on football on his and other sports.
“You know how much of a driver college football is. It’s a driver from a popularity standpoint. It’s a driver for schools from a fundraising standpoint. It’s a big driver from a TV standpoint. And it’s a big driver from a ticket sales and revenue standpoint.” {Tulsa World}
