It’s high noon...
What’s made Cam McGriff keep fighting?:
This is a fantastic feature on former Cowboy Cameron McGriff and why he’s up for the challenge of staying with basketball.
“There was nothing in life that was given to me,” McGriff said. “When I get on the court or get out on the football field, I went out there with a mentality that I wanted to go take whatever it is that I wanted.”
As McGriff grew taller and busted through pairs of shoes, he began to switch his focus to basketball. By sixth grade, McGriff could dunk a basketball and in seventh grade, he slammed for the first time in a game. {Rookie Wire}
Will the Beavers make the trip to Stillwater?:
The Tulsa World caught up with the progress with Oregon State is making among Coronavirus concerns.
The Beavers’ situation isn’t just complicated by the virus’ presence in Corvallis. They must travel halfway across the country to Stillwater. How do they feel about that?
How much are they thinking about that right now?
“It’s an excellent question,” Barnes said. “I think there is absolutely carryover value with the planning and the implementation and the specifics of the safety measures we’re taking here, that we would incorporate them into traveling. Obviously we would be on a private charter flight. We would take all of the precautions that airlines take when they’re traveling.” {Tulsa World}
Feature on the Green twins:
Bryson and Blaine Green out of Allen, Texas committed to Oklahoma State earlier this afternoon. Rivals wrote a fantastic piece about the twin’s commitment and recruiting process.
“We visited for the Baylor game,” Bryson previously told Rivals. “The coaching staff ... Coach (Kasey) Dunn is really cool. Coach (Mike) Gundy is cool. We talk to him a lot. Coach (Josh) Gonzalez is cool. Plus, they have had two Biletnikoff Award winners so they know how to develop receivers.”
Coach (Kasey) Dunn (from Oklahoma State) came to watch us practice (in October) and we went to Oklahoma State vs. Baylor last month,” Blaine added. {Rivals}
