It’s high noon..

Student Athletes have record semester academically:

Despite the challanges OSU students faced in the spring of 2020 semester. Cowboy and Cowgirl athletes were able to maintain good grades.

The spring of 2020 marked the 11th-consecutive semester of a 3.0 or better GPA for OSU student-athletes, and the first semester in OSU athletics history that our student-athletes achieved a 3.2 GPA. A record 99 student-athletes made the President’s Honor Roll, achieving a 4.0 GPA in at least 12 hours. Six different programs – Baseball, Women’s Basketball, Football, Softball, Soccer and Women’s Track – achieved the highest GPA for their respective sport in program history. Six programs – Equestrian, Men’s & Women’s Golf, Soccer, Women’s Tennis and Women’s Track – have a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA, while an additional four – Baseball, Women’s Basketball, Softball and Men’s Track – have a 3.2 or better cumulative GPA. {}

Cade Cunningham could be top of 2021 NBA Draft:

The staff at 24/7 Sports seems to think that Cade Cunningham has the right stuff to be the top of NBA Draft next year.

“ ... For me, the magic number is three. Cade Cunningham fits the NBA meta, so to speak, where teams are looking for stars who can create matchups and find scoring opportunities for themselves and other players. He’d be No. 1 in this year’s draft. I think Jalen Green, with his talent, would probably be No. 2. And I believe I’d probably take Jonathan Kuminga over anyone in the 2020 draft class as well, though with Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball, that’s at least more of a debate. Both Edwards and Ball have star potential in the NBA, but have worrying traits that also make it far from a guarantee either player will get there. I would probably take Evan Mobley over any big man from the 2020 draft class as well, but I’m not a big fan of taking a big man at No. 1 overall in today’s NBA unless they’re Anthony Davis, so I’d take him after Edwards and Ball as well.” — Kevin Flaherty.{24/7 Sports}
