It’s high noon...
Malcolm Rodriguez talks about practices:
Oklahoma State safety Malcolm Rodriguez was one of the OSU that was diagnosed with COVID-19 during the off season. He has since recovered and says he feels confortable with the way practice is being handled.
“The medical staff here does a very good job of making sure our procedures are good, everything’s tight,” said Rodriguez, who tested positive for COVID-19 in early June and spent two weeks in quarantine. “I feel safe, for sure.”
Oklahoma State, which currently has eight active COVID-19 cases among football players, altered some of its practice routines to keep players socially distanced when possible, and working in smaller groups. Everyone wore protective face shields — clear guards that fasten inside the face mask of the helmet — designed to protect against someone’s bodily fluids transferring to another player’s face.{The Oklahoman}
Celebrating Coach Iba’s Birthday:
Today is the 116th Birthday to one of Oklahoma State’s basketball coaches, Henry Iba. This is an awesome thread of pictures of the famous coach.
Happy 116th birthday to The Iron Duke of Defense. Today, we're going to pay tribute to the one and only Mr. Iba.#LetsWork I #GoPokes pic.twitter.com/wsuLA4xJVn

New jersey numbers:
With a new season comes new numbers for the Cowboys football team. There were changes in numbers, in one case a name change.
And that means new jersey numbers for returning players and newcomers.
It also meant a name change for one of the Cowboys’ key defensive backs. Jarrick Bernard has added to his last name, which is now Bernard-Converse. Last season, he started at safety but this spring moved to cornerback.
Other number changes for returning players include running back LD Brown now wearing No. 0, linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga switching to No. 7. {The Oklahoman}
