Stillwater linebacker Gabe Brown from the 2022 class announced Monday on Twitter that he’s committing to Oklahoma State.
“After talking it over with my family, I have decided to commit to Oklahoma State,” Brown wrote. “I can’t honestly say it was a tough decision for me. I know a lot of people want to wait on more offers for a year or so, but I can’t think of any place I’d rather play than Stillwater!”
Brown hails from Stillwater, so moving from home to college won’t be an adjustment. OSU was Brown’s first offer just 11 days ago on Sept. 10. He also held interest from Kansas State, Memphis and New Mexico. As a junior this season, Brown is bound to pick up more offers, but seems thrilled to play for his hometown school.

The 6-foot-2 linebacker is a three-star recruit currently unranked by 247sports — of course that could change in a year as he becomes a senior and more players from his class become ranked. Brown joins Shreveport, Louisiana, safety De’Kelvion Beamon as the only current members of OSU’s class of 2022.
