According to a report from Jacob Unruh of the Oklahoman, Saturday’s Bedlam match up has been postponed due to a positive test and contact tracing within the OSU program.
Just earlier this week, their game with West Virginia was postponed due to issues within their program.
Oklahoma has also players that have had to miss games due to COVID-19. Brady Manek was to sit out this game.
The team had reportedly paused team activities. And according to this report, will have to do so until Wednesday at least.
At this time a rescheduled date has not been announced.
Update as of 1:36 p.m. Friday:
Head coach Mike Boynton has released a statement regarding Saturday’s postponement.
“The well-being of the young men in our program has always been and will continue to be the most important thing for me, my staff and our administration,” Boynton said. “We’ve been very fortunate to play the games we’ve played thus far, and will await the advice of our medical staff before making any decisions on a return to team activities.”
