The 4-star out of Beggs, Oklahoma was originally set to play at Texas A&M, but was released from his Letter of Intent following the departure Ishmael Astride as A&M’s defensive analyst according to sources for The Oklahoman.
The 6-4, 190 pound safety’s announcement comes as a bit of shock as Oklahoma State did not seem to be on the radar following his decommitment.
Daniels was the top-rated player in Oklahoma for 2021. His ranking of .9579 (24/7 composite ) means that he is the highest-rated player since 2011. This means that half of the state’s top-8 players for this class are in OSU’s class.(shout out to Phillip for Tweeting those fun facts). Jim Knowles and his staff are doing an awesome job with the kids in their backyard, Which isn’t easy when you have someone like OU to compete with.
