Cade Cunningham is the nation’s top Freshman:
Oklahoma State Freshman Phenomenon Cade Cunningham has taken home his first award since returning from the NCAA Tournament. The Wayman Tisdale was awarded to him this after for being college basketball’s top freshman.
“I’m honored to be named the winner of the Wayman Tisdale Award,” Cunningham said. “This is a testament to all of the great coaches and teammates that I’ve been fortunate enough to play with over my career to this point. To be mentioned alongside the greats that have won this award, as well as Mr. Tisdale himself, is truly humbling.”
Cunningham is one of four finalists for the 2021 Naismith Trophy and is on the national ballot for the John R. Wooden Award. A generational talent at his position, he is also a finalist for the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award. {okstate.com}

Amen Ogbongbemiga has and NFL dream:
A Canadian local news channel did a great story on former Cowboy Amen Ogbongbemia.
Ogbongbemiga has high hopes that he’ll hear his name called at the 2021 NFL draft, which takes place in Cleveland April 29 through May 1.
“I can’t even fathom how big of an accomplishment that would be,” he told CTV.
“It would be such a blessing and dream come true. I’m just grateful to be in the position I’m in. Whatever team I end up going to I’ll be grateful forever.” {CTV News}
