Oklahoma State came out on top 3-1 in a decisive game four to win the Oklahoma City Regional. UConn starter Kenny Haus threw 2.1 innings with three hits no runs and three strikeouts. Jacob Wallace closed for UConn in another outstanding performance in 2.2 innings with no hits no runs and five strikeouts.
For the Cowboys, starter Joe Lienhard would get the win after lasting six innings with five hits a run and four strikeouts. He would also do this....

Peyton Battenfield would come in and pitch three innings with no runs no hits and five strikeouts.
The Huskies would strike first offensively on a RBI single from Anthony Prato in the top of the fifth inning. The Pokes would follow up in the bottom of the same inning on a solo homer from Alix Garcia.

The difference in this game would Carson McCusker. Not only did he make plays in left field all night, but he hit an RBI double that would give the Pokes their two run lead.

With this win OSU is now 39-19 on the season.
Next up:
The No. 9-seeded Cowboys will face No. 8 Texas Tech (42-17) in a best-of-three Super Regional in Lubbock, Texas. The Red Raiders swept a three-game regular season home series against OSU.
Games 1 and 2 will be Friday and Saturday, respectively. Game 3, if necessary, will be played Monday.
