Oklahoma State freshman guard Chris Harris Jr. will have season-ending knee surgery Friday, Cowboys head coach Mike Boynton told reporters after practice Thursday.
Harris has missed the past four games after sustaining the injury in the first half of the Cowboys’ 72-57 win against TCU on Feb. 5. He started three games and averaged 3.4 points per game and shot 28.7 percent from the field in 15 minutes per game in 22 games this season.
OSU (13-13), which has won two of its past three games, hosts Bedlam rival Oklahoma (16-10) at 3 p.m. Saturday at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater. The Sooners took the first Bedlam matchup of the season, 82-69, on Feb. 1 in Norman.
