Oklahoma State continues to round out its 2020-2021 non-conference schedule with the addition of a home-and-home series against Oral Roberts.

OSU will welcome the in-state opponent to Stillwater on Nov. 28, 2020. The Cowboys will then take the short 79-mile drive to Tulsa in 2021 to face the Golden Eagles at Mabee Center.

The Cowboys lead the all-time series 17-5 over ORU, including an 11-1 record at Gallagher-Iba Arena. The trip to Tulsa in 2021, which does not have a date yet, will be the first time OSU has played at Mabee Center since 1997.

The 2020 match-up will mark the third time in four years that the two in-state teams have faced off, with OSU winning both match-ups. That includes an 80-75 victory this past season and a 91-48 win back in 2017.

ORU is coming off a 17-win season and will return two of their top four scorers in 2020, including sophomore Max Abmas, who was the highest scoring freshman in the Summit League last season at 14.5 points per game.

Oh, and here’s a fun fact; OSU currently has two former ORU head coaches on staff; Assistant coach Scott Sutton was the head man at ORU from 1999-2017, and Barry Hinson — a special assistant on the OSU staff — was the head coach from 1997-99.
