Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy is believed to potentially receive a contract extension, according to a recent article in The Oklahoman.
Gundy, who has been with the Cowboys for 11 seasons, has a total record of 94-47 at OSU.
He has led the Cowboys to 10-straight bowl appearances, including a BCS and New Years Six bowl appearance.

In a recent Bleacher Report article, columnist Greg Wallace named Oklahoma State as one of five dark-horse playoff contenders for the 2016 college football season.
The Cowboys, who went 10-3 in 2015, finished the season ranked at #20. They have a difficult schedule next season, featuring road games against TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma, but Wallace seems confident that the Cowboys have potential to succeed.

Oklahoma State head coach Travis Ford will wear an orange jacket tonight during Bedlam to honor the late Kurt Budke.
Budke, who died in a tragic plane crash in 2011, was the head coach of the OSU women's basketball team. Budke famously wore an orange blazer when the Cowgirls took down the #6 Sooners in Bedlam in 2009.

Sports Illustrated's Stanley Kay recently published a feature article on former Oklahoma State basketball player Darrell Williams.
In February of 2011, Williams was wrongfully charged with one count of sexual battery and four counts of rape by instrumentation.
He has since been exonerated and is trying to work toward his goal of playing in the NBA. He currently plays for KK Partizan NIS in Serbia.

Oklahoma State outfielder Ryan Sluder has been named a preseason third-team All-American.
Sluder, a sophomore from Amarillo, Texas, had a breakout season last year with the Cowboys. He had four multi-hit games in 2014 and was awarded Big 12 Player of the Week on one occasion.
