Oklahoma State will try to remain above .500 when they visit No. 23 Iowa State next Saturday in Ames, Iowa.
After back-to-back losses, the Cowboys (4-3, 1-3 Big 12) remain unranked in the Associated Press’ top 25 poll. The Cyclones (5-2, 3-1), meanwhile, return to the top 25 after a bye week thanks to losses by Washington and Temple. OSU and ISU kick off at 2:30 p.m. next Saturday at Jake Trice Stadium on Fox Sports 1.
The top two in the poll remain the same with Alabama and LSU, while Ohio State leaped Clemson to No. 3 after a 52-3 Buckeyes win at Northwestern.
Oklahoma stayed at No. 5, followed by Penn State, Florida, Notre Dame, Auburn and Georgia to round out the top 10. Wisconsin fell seven spots to No. 13 after a 24-23 loss at Illinois. All six teams in the poll remain unbeaten as well as No. 14 Baylor, No. 16 SMU, No. 17 Minnesota and No. 21 Appalachian State.
Baylor is the second-highest ranked Big 12 team ahead of No. 15 Texas and No. 23 Iowa State.
