Oklahoma State, as expected, is unranked in the SB Nation FanPulse top 25 poll after a bye week, but the Cowboys landed in the receiving votes category.
The Cowboys (6-3, 3-3 Big 12) have won back-to-back Big 12 games and have been ranked in top 25 of the College Football Playoff rankings each of the past two weeks. OSU hosts Kansas (3-6, 1-5) on Saturday.
LSU remains No. 1 in the SBN poll after its win at Alabama. Ohio State and Clemson moved up and the Crimson Tide slid two spots to No. 4. Penn State’s loss at Minnesota dropped the Nittany Lions from No. 5 to No. 9, while Georgia climbed up one spot to No. 5.
The Big 12 has two teams in the top 10 with No. 6 Baylor and No. 8 Oklahoma. The Sooners and Bears are ranked Nos. 10 and 13, respectively, by the CFP committee. Kansas State fell out of the SBN top 25, but did receive votes like the Cowboys.
