Oklahoma State moved up one spot for the second straight week in the College Football Playoff rankings to No. 21.
The Cowboys (7-3, 4-3 Big 12) climbed a spot thanks to their 31-13 win over Kansas and then-No. 19 Texas’ 23-21 loss at Iowa State, who is ranked No. 22 this week.
The top four teams stayed the same with undefeated LSU, Ohio State, Clemson and a one-loss Georgia team. Alabama and Oregon, who are both 8-1, remain the top two teams on the outside of the top four.
Along with OSU and ISU, the Big 12 has No. 9 Oklahoma and No. 14 Baylor in the top 25. The Sooners moved one spot after their 25-point comeback in Waco to hand Baylor its first loss of the season.
Kansas State, who was ranked No. 24 last week, fell out of the top 25 after a 24-20 home loss to West Virginia.
The Cowboys visit the Mountaineers next week.
