Merry Christmas to you and yours from the CRFF crew.

We’re taking the day off to spend with family and friends, but wanted to leave you with one gift on Christmas morning.

We’ve each sent out our letters to Santa like good boys and girl (Micah), and thought we would share what we asked Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick to bring to Oklahoma State.

Dear Santa,

This year for Christmas I wish for...

A new wrestling facility like Ohio State’s Covelli Center

A new facility, which Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder said in August would cost $40 million, would be a massive boon for recruiting efforts for the Cowboys program and Cowboy Regional Training Center. It would show a commitment to the sport not only within the four to six years wrestlers can compete for the Cowboys, but also that they can stay and train in Stillwater as a post graduate while competing at the senior level in freestyle and Greco-Roman.

Your friend, Brandon

Dear Santa,

This year for Christmas I wish for...

A Final Four appearance for coach Mike Boynton and the Cowboys with a rocking Gallagher-Iba Arena to go with it.

Dear Santa,

This year for Christmas I wish for...

An NCAA Championship for one of the women’s teams.

OSU is home to 52 NCAA national championships, good for fourth most in the country. While 34 wrestling trophies and 11 golf trophies are awesome, the closest thing a women’s team has to an NCAA title are five NCEA Equestrian titles and a runner-up finish to Stanford in the 2016 Women’s Tennis Championship.

OSU has some impressive women’s programs, especially in soccer and tennis. And you can throw in softball which is one the rise. I would love to see the next NCAA trophy in the case belong to one of the women’s teams. It’s about time.

Thanks so much, Phillip

Dear Santa,

First of all I just wanted to let you know I have been very good this year. And with that, let’s get to the reason for my letter.

This year for Christmas I wish for...

One more year of Chuba Hubbard.

I know it’s not likely but Christmas miracles happen. I would love for him to come back for one more year in the orange and black. The Canadian Speedster has done so many great things and I just want him to accomplish even more. I’m just not quite ready to give up on watching him on Saturdays yet Mr.Claus.

Your friend, Micah
