Oklahoma State will kick off its 15th season under head coach Mike Gundy this fall. Cowboys Ride For Free will have a 15-day countdown with one article each day until the Cowboys’ season opener Aug. 30 at Oregon State.

Day 13 brings some fun in the series by going through every game in Oklahoma State’s schedule (Big 12 championship game/bowl game pending) and correlating them with a song.

at Oregon State - Aug. 31

Because they’re... ya know... Beavers.

McNeese State - Sept. 7:

There’s only one song that could represent two teams that are the Cowboys facing off. The anthem of the GOAT Cowboy movie.

at Tulsa - Sept 14:

With the Cowboys visiting Tulsa for this game, I had to go with this one. They’ll be on Tulsa time after all.

Conference games

at Texas - Sept 21:

There are longhorns in this video, and this is basically the anthem of Texas.

Kansas State - Sept 28:

Wildcats everywhere

Wave your hands up in the air

That’s the way we do it

Lets get to it

Time to show the world!

at Texas Tech - Oct. 5:

Do I need to explain?

Baylor - Oct. 19:

The “Bare Necessities” for the Baylor Bears.

at Iowa State - Oct. 26:

This classic film is set in Kansas, but it’s about Cyclones, which is Iowa State’s mascot.

TCU - Nov. 2:

Gary Patterson and those crazy Horned Frogs.

Kansas - Nov. 16:

Even with having Les Miles at the helm, Kansas is just looking to basketball season.

at WVU - Nov. 23:

There is no other choice, especially since OSU is playing in Morgantown.

OU - Nov. 30:

These people were Sooners and you can’t convince me otherwise.

Big 12 Championship:

I don’t see a scenario where OSU is playing this game, so they’ll be on vacation hopefully waiting to accept their bowl invitation to a warm destination.
