Oklahoma State made its debut in the Associated Press Top 25 poll this season at No. 21 on Sunday.
The Cowboys (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) knocked off then-No. 24 ranked Kansas State 26-13 on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium behind a career high 296 rushing yards from Chuba Hubbard.
Alabama moved up to the No. 1 spot for the first time this season after Clemson’s last-second win over North Carolina. Georgia, Ohio State, LSU, Oklahoma, Auburn, Wisconsin, Notre Dame and Florida round out the top 10.
Texas is just outside the top 10 at No. 11. Baylor received 19 voting points and K-State had just one.
No. 20 Arizona State and No. 22 Wake Forest join the Cowboys as teams to enter the rankings.
