Oklahoma State did not receive a single vote in SB Nation’s FanPulse poll, which was released Wednesday. The Cowboys, however, did receive votes from three writers in the Associated Press’ top 25 poll Tuesday.
The top five remained the same in the SBN poll with Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Ohio State. LSU moved from No. 10 to No. 6 after its 55-3 home win over Georgia Southern. Michigan slid one spot back to No. 7, Auburn leaped 10 spots to No. 8 after its upset of Oregon and Texas stayed put at No. 9. Notre Dame fell three slots to No. 10 after its 35-17 road win at Louisville.
Some other notable changes:
Florida: No. 8 to No. 11
Michigan State: No. 23 to No. 19
Iowa State: No. 20 to No. 23
Northwestern (No. 21) and Miami (No. 22) both fell out of the top 25, while No. 21 Syracuse and No. 24 Stanford made their debuts.
Other teams receiving votes: Boise State, Memphis, Cincinnati and Virginia.
