Oklahoma State added another linebacker to their 2020 class when Lamont Bishop announced Wednesday night he would be transferring to OSU from Iowa Central Community College.

“After an amazing visit to Stillwater, I’m very excited to say I’m 1,000 percent committed to furthering my education and athletic career at Oklahoma State University. Go Cowboys,” Lamont said via Twitter.

The sophomore-to-be adds size (6-foot-3, 225 pounds) to defensive coordinator Jim Knowles’ group. Bishop had 39 tackles, including five tackles for loss, and one sack, and one interception and one forced fumble in 10 games this past season. He also has offers from Marshall, Southern Miss, UAB and a couple FCS programs.

Bishop is the 22nd scholarship player for the class of 2020, and second junior college player of the group, joining defensive end Tyren Irby.
