Oklahoma State stayed put at No. 14 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll after its second bye week of the season.
The Cowboys (5-1, 4-1 Big 12) visit No. 18 Oklahoma (5-2, 4-2) at 6:30 p.m. next Saturday for Bedlam at Memorial Stadium in Norman. Both teams were off this week. OSU is a half game back of No. 17 Iowa State (5-2, 4-1) for the Big 12 lead.
The Bedlam showdown received some added intrigue when ESPN announced its flagship pregame show “College GameDay” will travel to Norman for the game. The Cowboys are 1-7 when the show is in town, including a 0-6 mark in Bedlam games.
OSU remains the top Big 12 team in the poll ahead the No. 17 ISU, No. 18 OU and No. 22 Texas (5-2, 4-2).
The top four teams in the poll remained the same. No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Ohio State did not play because of COVID-19 reasons, No. 2 Notre Dame handled Boston College 45-31 and No. 4 Clemson had a bye week.
