The 6-foot-1, 182-pound wide receiver entered the NCAA transfer portal in January after primarily playing on special teams with two tackles in 11 games this past season for the Cowboys. Alexander, a Lancaster Texas native, did see snaps as a backup receiver but did not catch a pass. He had two receptions for 68 yards, a 12-yard catch against Baylor and a 56-yard catch against Kansas during the 2017 campaign.
Receiver Patrick McKaufman also entered the portal in January, but has yet to announce where he will play in the fall.
