The streak is over.
Oklahoma State did not have a player selected this year in the NFL draft for the first time since 2008, ending the Cowboys’ 11-year streak.
Cornerback A.J. Green, a 2019 Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist, was projected to be selected on Day 3 of the 2020 NFL draft during the fourth through seventh rounds, but was not one of the 26 cornerbacks selected.
Shocked. But I’mma stand on this. Everything always come full circle!

Former OSU offensive tackle Arlington Hambright, who transferred to Colorado to play his senior season this past year, was selected in the seventh round (No. 226) by the Bears.
Four of OSU’s 20 picks during its 11-year streak were first rounders: offensive tackle Russell Okung (No. 6 by Seahawks) and wide receiver Dez Bryant (No. 24 by Cowboys) in 2010, wide receiver Justin Blackmon (No. 5 by Jaguars) in 2012 and cornerback Justin Gilbert (No. 8 by Browns) in 2014.
OSU’s longest streak is 15 years from 1974 to 1989 that included seven first-round picks.
