Oklahoma State was voted to finish second in the 2020 preseason Big 12 media poll, announced Friday by the conference.
The Cowboys received six first-place votes to Bedlam rival Oklahoma’s 80. Texas also had four first-place votes.
It’s the fifth consecutive season the Sooners have been picked to win the Big 12, which they have won every year since 2015.
Bedlam is scheduled for Oct. 24 in Norman, and if the two teams live up to media poll they’d meet again in the Big 12 championship game Dec. 5 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Cowboys last won the Big 12 in 2011.
