Three Oklahoma State athletes have an active case of COVID-19, the department announced Monday.

Two of three active cases are with OSU’s football team, with one of them from a walk-on who tested positive before his arrival on campus in Stillwater. There are zero active cases for cross-country and women’s soccer.

The third active case doesn’t specify from which sport but is listed in “all other sports active cases.”

OSU also stated there have been 77 positive tests since June 1, when the department started testing athletes. The release did not state how many tests have been conducted.

The Cowboys are set to kick off its football season Sept. 12 against Tulsa at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater. OSU does not have a 2020 schedule listed on its athletics website for cross-country or women’s soccer.
