Oklahoma State kicks off its season against Tulsa as a 23.5-point favorite Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater.
ESPN’s “College GameDay” crew along with celebrity guest picker Bill Murray unanimously chose the Cowboys to start the season 1-0 with a victory against the Golden Hurricane.
Desmond Howard and David Pollack both said OSU’s offensive trio of running back Chuba Hubbard, and quarterback Spencer Sanders and wide receiver Tylan Wallace would be too much for Tulsa’s defense. Lee Corso agreed with Howard and Pollack and said OSU will win by 24 points, while Murray also noted Tulsa is a better music town than Stillwater.
Kirk Herbstreit agreed, but also made sure to point out Tulsa will able to score on OSU’s defense. He also said Hubbard had 256 yards in last year’s game and will have a “similar day” and OSU will win in a shootout.
The picks are in! #GoPokes
