No. 17 Oklahoma State has zero active COVID-19 cases before Kansas game

The No. 6-ranked Cowgirls soccer team also is coronavirus free.

Oklahoma State has zero active COVID-19 cases on its football and women’s soccer teams, the athletic department announced Monday.

It’s the second straight week the No. 17-ranked Cowboys do not have an active case. OSU is 2-0 with both victories at home, and will play its first road game this season Saturday against Kansas at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kansas.

The No. 6-ranked Cowgirls soccer team saw a drop from four active cases to zero from Sept. 14 to 27. They’re 3-0 after a 2-1 double overtime win against No. 4 West Virginia this past Friday. OSU returns to action Friday when the Cowgirls travel to Waco, Texas, to play Baylor.

OSU has four active COVID-19 cases with one on the cross-country team and three among non-fall sports.

In total, OSU has reported 112 positive tests since testing began June 1.
