The Oklahoma State coaching staff has added Offensive Guard Deionte Noel from Cibolo, TX to the 2014 Class. Noel has been committed to Texas Tech since April, and held offers from Houston and Rice as well.
Listed at 6-3 300 lbs, Noel is listed as the #56 Offensive Guard in the country and a 3-Star recruit according to ESPN. Noel joins Matthew Mucha and Lem Galea'l as the 3rd Offensive Linemen in the class, and the 29th commitment for the Cowboys.
Here is the ESPN Evaluation of Noel
Noel has the size, playing strength and athleticism for the offensive guard position at the BCS level of play. His sturdy frame should be able to support additional bulk, but before that is attempted, redefining his present body mass while maintaining and improving his athleticism is of the utmost importance. This guy is a dominant run blocker who uses his body mass and hand strength to knock defenders back on their heels. Displays the flexibility, balance and agility needed to play on his feet and adjust to quick movement in tight spaces.
