Jordan Brailford and Taylor Cornelius will represent Oklahoma State at the East-West Shrine Game on Saturday in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The Shrine Game offers young NFL draft hopefuls the opportunity to be coached by NFL coaches, meet with scouts and front office personnel face-to-face for the first time.
Brailford and Cornelius will suit up for the East team coached by Panthers assistant defensive line coach Sam Mills III.
Taylor Cornelius, QB, (6-foot-5, 235 pounds)
Cornelius threw for 3,978 passing yards and 42 total touchdowns in his redshirt senior season for the Cowboys. The former walk-on punctuated his college career with 336 yards and four touchdowns in OSU’s win over Missouri in the Liberty Bowl.
Jordan Brailford, DE (6-3, 250)
Brailford recorded 55 tackles and 10 sacks as junior this past fall. He also broke up a pass and forced two fumbles as he played at both end spots and all three linebacker positions. In his three-year career which, Brailford recorded 135 tackles, including 31.5 tackles for loss, and 16 sacks.
Brailford is viewed as an effective pass rusher that could likely transition to outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme.
