Rudolph (concussion) and Washington (shoulder) exited the Steelers’ Week 5 loss to the Ravens and former OSU teammate Justice Hill with injuries. Both players sat out the Steelers’ game the next week before the team’s bye week. Pittsburgh hosts the winless Dolphins this week.
Rudolph and Washington won’t be the only former OSU players returning from injury as Chargers offensive tackle Russell Okung will make his season debut against the Bears after suffering pulmonary embolism because of blood clots in June. He missed all of training camp and was on the non-football illness list until last week when he participated in two practices. The game is not available in the Stillwater viewing area.
Two other former Cowboys will play on the national stage with Vikings kicker Dan Bailey against Washington on Thursday night, and Chiefs defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah will take on the Packers on Sunday night.
Ravens running back Justice Hill and Cowboys tight end Dallas Jarwin are on bye weeks.
