Kyle Crutchmer, a former Oklahoma State wrestler and current welterweight MMA fighter, announced via social media Friday that he’ll fight Feb. 21 at Bellator 239 at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. He did not announce his opponent.

The 26-year-old Crutchmer (5-0, 1-0 Bellator) made his Bellator debut in November at the same venue where he defeated Robert Gidron via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). Crutchmer, a Tulsa Union product, utilized his wrestling background throughout the fight with several takedowns, and executed a spinning backfist.

Crutchmer trains with former two-division UFC champion and former OSU All-American wrestler Daniel Cormier at American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose, California.

Crutchmer, who went 95-26 in his career at OSU and was a two-time All-American and two-time Big 12 champion at 174 pounds, graduated in 2017.
