It took a little longer than he probably would have liked, but the reaction by the fastest back in the draft and his family after the announcement shows the wait was worth it.
And here it is! @CowboyFB running back Justice Hill (@jhill21_) is drafted with the 11th pick in the 4th round to the Baltimore Ravens. Proud family here in Tulsa, Oklahoma! @KJRH2HD #NFLDraft2019 #okstate pic.twitter.com/U5d3BQVJWf— Jacob Tobey (@JacobRTobey) April 27, 2019
Hill had some good comments for the media about his new team.
Luke: Justice Hill is the first ever Oklahoma State player drafted by the #Ravens. Said he's looking forward to playing with the Oklahoma guys Baltimore has drafted recently to represent the Big 12.— WNST (@WNST) April 27, 2019
Justice Hill said he's excited to play with #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. "Oh yeah. ... It'll be nice having a dual-threat."— Aaron Kasinitz (@AaronKazreports) April 27, 2019
Justice Hill said he's always been the fastest guy on the field. Chuckled at the thought of racing his Oklahoma rival, Marquise Brown.— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) April 27, 2019
Now, that’s a race that people would pay to watch at the Ravens’ training camp.
Current and former OSU players and coaches sent congratulatory messages to Hill on the big news.
Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports also had some good things to say about the Ravens’ selection of Hill.
Bedlam could be rough for Hill this coming season as he’s out numbered by his new teammates that went to Oklahoma.
Can’t wait to watch this guy in the NFL this upcoming season.
