Former Oklahoma State All-American wrestler Daniel Cormier wants to ride off into the sunset at UFC 245 with the UFC heavyweight championship around his waist after winning a trilogy fight against Stipe Miocic.
Five weeks after Miocic (19-3) defeated Cormier (22-2) in the fourth round for the heavyweight title at UFC 241, Cormier confirmed he’s pushing for a rematch.

Cormier previously said he’d retire before his 40th birthday last March.
Last week, UFC President Dana White said a trilogy between Cormier and Miocic is already in the works. UFC 245 will be Dec. 14 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It’s the same venue Cormier knocked out Miocic in the first round to become the second two-division champ in UFC history.
