Ramon Richards is heading to Canada.
The former Oklahoma State defensive back signed with the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League on Tuesday. He’ll join former Cowboy Ashton Lampkin in Calgary, which lost to eventual champion Winnipeg in the first round of the playoffs last season after winning the Grey Cup in 2018.
Richards signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and attended the team’s training camps for two years. He had 183 career tackles — 10.5 tackles for loss — and 10 interceptions with two returned for touchdowns and 23 pass breakups during his OSU career.
