Three Cowboys are trying to paint themselves into history this week at the Valspar Championship. Riding some momentum they have a good chance for a high finish.
Since entering the starting lineup, Oklahoma State alum Markel Brown seems to have a highlight dunk every week for his Brooklyn Nets; this week was no exception.
The Nets eventually lost to the Phoenix Suns in OT 108-100, and Brown finished the game with seven points and one rebound.
One of the greatest Quarterbacks in OSU history, Zac Robinson, has launched his own Quarterback Academy. Zac has spent the last year or so rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, and is looking to begin the next chapter of his professional career by mentoring the next generation of quarterbacks. This should be an outstanding opportunity for any player looking to take the next step in his game.
Oklahoma State basketball just hasn't been the same in recent times, especially the last few weeks.
So who else better to bring to practice than Desmond Mason? It's a good thing someone is trying to set a fire under this team. In case you don't remember, Mason was a part of the OSU basketball team from 1997-99 and spent 11 years in the NBA before turning to art.Unable to reach a long term deal before the deadline, the Dallas Cowboys finally made official what we all expected. Following two ten-day contracts with Detroit, the Pistons have officially signed former Oklahoma State Cowboy John Lucas III for the remainder of the season.
In his eight games with Detroit, Lucas has averaged 5.0 points and 3.3 assists, but his stats might soon receive a bump considering that star point guard Brandon Jennings is out with an achilles injury.
This is Lucas' fifth NBA team to play for, most recently playing for the Utah Jazz in the 2013-2014 season.
With 2:41 left in the first quarter, former Oklahoma State Cowboy Markel Brown threw down a vicious dunk against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Brown was named a starter earlier in the week, and hasn't disappointed. See the full video here.
