This past weekend was the first of Oklahoma State’s two Junior Days — called Cowboy Day — in which dozens of recruits and high schools players came to Stillwater to get a look at the OSU program. Along with watching Mike Boynton and the basketball team beat South Caorlina, players and their parents got a tour of the athletic facilities, an academic presentation, and a recruiting presentation about NCAA rules.
While as many as 50 players were expected to make the trek to Stilly, we tracked down as many as we could confirm through social media, and have put an emphasis on the big names.
2019 JUCO Defensive End Soni Fonua
By now, every Oklahoma State fan knows the name of the team’s top final target for 2019. Fonua has already visited Nebraska (which seemed to go really well), UCF (not as much), and will visit LSU (gulp) before making his final decision. This is the guy to keep an eye on as we grow closer to signing day.
The Cowboys’ highest rated recruit in the 2020 class — so far — made a trip to Stillwater to take part in the festivities.
Just a few days after Coach Gundy came to see him in Broken Arrow, the talented in-state DB make a trip out to Stillwater. Slusher is one of the Cowboys’ top targets in the class, but they’ll have their work cut out for them with 16 other schools currently trying to land his commitment.
2020 4-Star Defensive End Alec Bryant
A high 4-star DE from Pearland, Texas, Bryant already has 18 offers to his name. As of now, Oklahoma is considered the favorite to land his commitment.
The 4-star corner from Waco, Texas is had a decent junior season with 26 tackles and two forced fumbles. He currently has offers from Oklahoma State, Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Purdue, Houston, Tulsa, SMU, and Texas State.
2020 3-Star Cornerback Dontae Manning
The 6-foot, 175-pound corner from Kansas City, Missouri picked up his Oklahoma State offers just a few days before his trip to Stillwater. Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Virginia Tech, and Liberty are also pursuing him
Currently ranked as the 31st-rated Pro-style QB in the 2020 class by 247Sports, the Gilbert, AZ QB has offers from Oklahoma State, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon State, and North Texas.
The guard from Waco, Texas was a First-Team All-District player this past season. While Ndago is not ranked by every site, 247Sports has him as a 3-star prospect. He currently has offers Tulsa and North Texas.
The 5-foot-11, 160 pass catcher from Jacksonville, Texas is rated a 3-star prospect by 247Sports. As a junior, Carpenter caught 31 passes for 501 yards and two touchdowns and had another 255 yards and three TDs on the ground.
North Texas is the only school to have offered so far, though Louisiana Tech and TCU have also shown interest.
2020 Offensive Tackle Calib Perez
Perez picked up his Oklahoma State offer just a few days before making the trek to Stillwater. The Cowboys are joined by Colorado, Houston, and Tulsa in pursuit of the 6-foot-6, 265- left tackle from Pearland, Texas. Other schools, including Texas Tech, TCU, and Northwestern, have shown interest.

The talented corner out of Saint Louis, Missouri made his first unofficial visit to Stillwater. Johnson picked up an offer from the Cowboys — his first — back in November. He currently has offers from five schools including OSU, Iowa State, Nebraska, Illinois, and Western Michigan.
Oklahoma State was the first FBS program to offer the Dallas, Texas prospect back in October. Since then, Baylor and Utah have also made offers.
