This past weekend was the first of Oklahoma State’s two Junior Days — called Cowboy Day — in which dozens of recruits and high schools players came to Stillwater to get a look at the OSU program. Along with watching Mike Boynton and the basketball team beat South Caorlina, players and their parents got a tour of the athletic facilities, an academic presentation, and a recruiting presentation about NCAA rules.
While as many as 50 players were expected to make the trek to Stilly, we tracked down as many as we could confirm through social media, and have put an emphasis on the big names.
2019 JUCO Defensive End Soni Fonua
By now, every Oklahoma State fan knows the name of the team’s top final target for 2019. Fonua has already visited Nebraska (which seemed to go really well), UCF (not as much), and will visit LSU (gulp) before making his final decision. This is the guy to keep an eye on as we grow closer to signing day.
