Five-star guard Bryce Thompson of Tulsa’s Booker T. Washington included Oklahoma State in his final four schools Sunday. North Carolina, Kansas and Oklahoma also made the cut. He plans to his decision Nov. 13, the opening day of the early signing period.
Many expected the Cowboys to make the list, so this news doesn’t come as a surprise. With Rondel Walker’s commitment secured Thursday, OSU is finally beginning to assemble its class for 2020.
I believe the Cowboys’ best shot at landing Thompson would come as a result of Cunningham’s commitment first. A class featuring those mentioned in this article would result in the No. 2 overall ranked class for 2020, in between Duke and UNC.
I’m not saying it will happen, but something special could definitely be brewing in Stillwater.
