Soni Fonua, a graduate transfer out of Mesa (Arizona) Community College, announced via Twitter on Sunday that he’s committing to LSU.

With Fonua being Oklahoma State’s only real known target left for 2019, it looks like the Cowboys could make a surprise come Signing Day if they’re after anyone else. LSU was the last known visit for Fonua, and ultimately were his choice.
Last season at MCC, Fonua had 51 total tackles with one fumble recovery and assisted on a sack for two yards.
With Fonua’s commitment to the Tigers, OSU still has one scholarship open for 2019.
