Oklahoma State’s most recent 2020 commit seems to have changed his mind. 3-star Linebacker Josh White has reportedly decommitted from OSU.
White never officially announced his decommitment, but according to at least one report and 247Sports, he reopened his recruiting back on January 29th. White also removed all Oklahoma State photos from his twitter account and a mention of being an OSU commit from his twitter profile
White committed to Oklahoma State back on October 7th. At the time, the Cy Creek, Houston prospect committed to OSU over programs like Alabama, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa State, and Baylor. After his commitment, White picked up multiple offers, including one from LSU who White made an unofficial visit to just a few days before his decommitment.
That visit seems to have gone really well for Josh.
““It was amazing,” White told Shea Dixon of Geaux 247. “The field was beautiful, and all the coaches made me feel like family.”
The loss of White leaves Oklahoma State with three players committed for 2020; 4-star offensive tackle Eli Russ, 3-star Cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, and 3-star defensive tackle Grant Mahon.
