Harris announced the Cowboys, Red Raiders, and Aggies as his final three schools last week. OSU is considered the favorites for Harris Jr. by experts for 247 and Rivals.
The Cowboys have three open scholarships after the departure of Duncan Demuth, and have put a very aggressive push to get Harris’ commitment to fill one of them.
If Coach Boynton and Co. can add him to their already impressive class, it would move the Pokes No. 23 class up to 20th in the nation. That would give the Big 12 five schools ranked in the top 20 in recruiting for the class of 2019.
Texas A&M has made a realistic push to re-sign the 6-foot-2 shooting guard with the hiring of Buzz Williams. Oklahoma State remains the favorite, but it will likely come down to those two schools.
Check out more on how the Pokes could potentially fill their three remaining scholarships, even if they miss out on Harris, in this post from Phillip Slavin.
