Ernest Ross

Mike Boynton may still have two scholarships to fill for the class of 2019, but he and his staff are still working hard on future classes as well.

They have extended offers to three recruits from the east coast; two to class of 2021 prospects from Florida and another to 2020 star Cameron Stitt.

Ernest Ross: 6’10” Forward/ Alachua, Florida

Ernest Ross added an Oklahoma State offer to his growing list that already includes Ole Miss, Virginia Tech and Florida. Ross is ranked 74th in the class of 2021. His recruitment has picked up this spring and should only continue to take off as he still has two years left of high school.

Thus far, he has offers from OSU, Florida, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, and Xavier.

Dallan Coleman: 6’4” Guard/ Callahan, Florida

Coleman is a top 50 prospect in the class of 2021 who already holds offers from Florida, Florida State and Iowa State. Coleman ran with E1T1 on the EYBL circuit this season along with Victor Rosa, who holds an Oklahoma State offer, and Zaire Wade. Coleman averaged 10.1 points per game with E1T1.

Coleman averaged 22.6 points and 7.4 rebounds with West Nassau High School in his sophomore season. With time his stock should only continue to rise as the Cowboys already have some power five competition for his services, including Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and Iowa State.

Cameron Stitt: 6’8” Forward/ Charlotte, North Carolina

Stitt is a three-star prospect who played for Team CP3 on Nike’s EYBL circuit this season. He scored 6.7 points per game on 47% shooting for Team CP3. The 2020 prospect only has one offer from East Carolina. Stitt reclassified to the class of 2019 before switching back to the class of 2020.

Last season at United Faith Academy, Stitt averaged 18.4 points per game on 48% shooting. He added 7.1 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game according to a scouting report from Phenom Hoop Report.
