Oklahoma State added a running back to its 2020 class with former Oklahoma City Bishop McGuinness product Dominic Richardson. Go Pokes first reported the news late Thursday night.

Richardson, who was released by TCU from his National Letter of Intent in late May, is the No. 49 running back and No. 8 overall recruit in the state of Oklahoma in the 2020 class by 247Sports. The three-star back had 80 touchdowns and 6,926 all-purpose yards, including 5,998 rushing yards, at Bishop McGuinness.

Richardson (6-foot, 205 pounds), however, did not receive an offer from OSU while in high school. He selected the Horned Frogs over Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Texas among others.

The Cowboys have five running backs on scholarship for the 2020 season, highlighted by reigning Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and 2019 Doak Walker Award finalist Chuba Hubbard. Three-star Frisco (Texas) Lone Star running back Jaden Nixon is the lone commit at the position for the 2021 class.
