Travis Mastrogiovanni, the fourth-ranked prospect in the 2021 class by FloWrestling, announced his commitment to Oklahoma State on Thursday night.
Mastrogiovanni’s commitment comes one day after his older brother, Trevor, signed a national letter of intent with OSU. Trevor, a 133 pounder, is the No. 16-ranked prospect in the 2020 class and among six top-100 prospect signees in the class for the Cowboys.
Travis is the second-ranked 152 pounder in the country and projects as a 157 pounder at OSU. He’s a cadet freestyle national champion and prep national champion from New Jersey powerhouse Blair Academy.
Mastrogiovanni is the second 2021 commit for John Smith and his staff, joining No. 43-ranked Teague Travis, who is projected to wrestle at 149.
The third photo in Mastrogiovanni’s Instagram post includes him standing next to Maize, Kansas product Kyle Haas, who is the top-ranked 220 pounder in 2021 and the younger brother of OSU recruiting coordinator Tyler Caldwell.
