Kyle Haas, the No. 1 heavyweight and sixth overall prospect in the 2021 class by FloWrestling, committed to Oklahoma State on Sunday night.
It comes as no surprise that Haas picked the Cowboys since his older brother is OSU’s third-year recruiting coordinator Tyler Caldwell, who was a two-time NCAA All-American and one-time NCAA finalist for the Cowboys after transferring from Oklahoma.
Haas of Maize, Kansas, won his third and fourth national championship this past June in Akron, Ohio, to earn a spot on the United States’ Cadet World team in freestyle and Greco-Roman.
Excited to announce I have verbally committed to further my academic and athletic career at Oklahoma State University.. thankful for all the support leading up to this. Can’t wait to see what my future holds as a cowboy. Go pokes! @CowboyWrestling @TCaldwell165 pic.twitter.com/VKIZIFohYK

Haas joins No. 4 Travis Mastrogiovanni and No. 43 Teague Travis as 2021 four-star commits for the Cowboys. Mastrogivanni is also the younger brother of 2020 signee Trevor Mastrogiovanni.
Hass’ commitment makes OSU the only school with two top-10 2021 commits.
