Oklahoma State wrestling coach John Smith is enjoying the offseason.
Smith is less than a month removed from guiding the Cowboys to a third place finish at the NCAA Wrestling Championships and having two wrestlers finish as national runners up in 133-pounder Daton Fix and heavyweight Derek White.
In addition to low single-leg takedowns and inside trips, a hallmark of Smith’s program is the ability to ride out opponents. Smith showed Friday night that his skillset to ride isn’t limited to the wrestling mat.

Smith clocked a roughly 20-second ride, which would definitely earn some praise from two-time Professional Bull Riding world champion J. B. Mauney.
Cael Sanderson and Tom Brands could never do that.
