The Oklahoma State wrestling team received their fourth top-100 commit from the 2021 class Saturday with Victor Voinovich, who is ranked No. 15 in the class by FloWrestling.

“I am so grateful to announce I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Oklahoma State University!” Voinovich wrote on social media. “Thank you to everyone in my life who has gotten me to this point. I am so excited to see what the future holds for me. Cowboy up. Go Pokes!”

Voinovich won the 145-pound Division 1 Ohio state championship as a freshman and took third as a sophomore for Brecksville. Voinovich, a 2019 Walsh Ironman tournament finalist, was unable to try to capture his second state title in March because the Ohio High School Athletic Association canceled the state tournament this year due to the coronavirus.

He’s also found success in freestyle as a three-time All-American in Fargo with back-to-back third-place finishes and a runner-up finish this past July.

Voinovich picked the Cowboys over Cornell, Ohio State, Penn State and others. He projects to be at 149 or 157 pounds at OSU.
